The goal of your job is to develop and manage our insurance software by improving existing functionality or developing new features while making changes in all three (database, business logic, and presentation) layers.


In Insly you will:

  • Write “clean”, well-designed code as well as efficient SQL
  • Cover your code with tests and user acceptance tests to ensure feature quality
  • Refactor, optimize and improve the existing codebase for maintenance, scale, and stability
  • Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in software development
  • Perform code review
  • Provide technical related consultation plus the expertise to all product managers as well as various staff members

You are the next PHP developer we’re looking for if you have:

  • Understanding of design patterns
  • Knowledge and experience with OOP
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies (e.g JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3)
  • Strong knowledge of common PHP
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (e.g Git)
  • Good knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Experienced with automated tests
  • Good verbal and written English

It is useful, but not mandatory if you have experience with:

  • Laravel components
  • Docker
  • Kubernetes
  • Jenkins
