Hosting a stand at this year\u2019s event, Insly had two highly productive days, demonstrating its end-to-end insurance software, its AI-powered broker submission tool, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/insly.com\/en\/formflow\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">FormFlow<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and launching its new report, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/insly.com\/en\/blog\/insly-launches-report-on-maximising-the-roi-of-ai-in-insurance\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">AI in Insurance<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>AI report attracts attention\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Insly\u2019s stand was buzzing across the two days, with visitors keen to improve their internal processes and\/or increase their broker submission processing power. Many were attracted by our AI report and keen to know more about leveraging the technology within their business. Key questions included how to minimise risks around AI accuracy and what the future holds for the technology, in areas from underwriting to reporting.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Don\u2019t underestimate a strong software backend\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fans of Insly also observed the importance of a strong backend when choosing insurance software, commenting that while a well-designed front-end might capture attention, it is irrelevant if the foundations don\u2019t meet the specific needs of MGAs and insurers. Insly has made a name for itself by combining an intuitive interface with a comprehensive and customisable backend, built around the exact needs of MGAs and insurers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Stars out in force for BIBA<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Away from the Insly stand, the conference delivered an impressive speaker line-up including former England manager, Gareth Southgate, advocating for a strong office culture for young people; the boxer, Anthony Joshua, sharing lessons about resilience, leadership, and success; and Former Secretary of Defence, Penny Mordaunt, exploring how geopolitics and world conflict will shape business, risk and insurance in the coming years.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Big news for the industry<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Finally, the conference was the platform for some big news for the insurance industry, including the announcement of BIBA\u2019s first-ever national advertising campaign, which will promote insurance brokers to SMEs. According to BIBA CEO Graeme Trudgill, the campaign aims to reach \u201cthe business owners of the future who have grown up buying their personal insurance online,\u201d and will run throughout May and June on multiple media channels.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Trudgill also welcomed the FCA\u2019s new consultation paper, CP25\/12, aimed at \u2018Simplifying The Insurance Rules,\u2019 following a campaign by BIBA for more proportionate regulation for low-risk insurance brokers.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That\u2019s a wrap for another successful year at The BIBA Conference.
