Insly has been named in the InsurTech100 2026<\/a>, the annual list published by specialist research firm FinTech Global. The list is compiled by a panel of analysts and industry experts who reviewed more than 2,100 InsurTech companies this year and recognises businesses applying technology across underwriting, claims, risk assessment, distribution and customer engagement.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A list like this is really a snapshot of a lot of smaller decisions, so it’s worth being specific about what sits behind it rather than just naming the award.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What this actually reflects\u00a0<\/h3>\n

Most of the problems Insly’s products exist to solve are not dramatic. A broker chasing queue that builds up quietly over a few weeks. A claims process that depends on someone remembering to check a status nobody is watching. A submission that stalls because a document never got asked for twice.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Nora exists to remove exactly this kind of manual, repetitive work across the underwriting process. It runs four steps: submission extraction from multiple formats e.g. PDF, word, or even handwritten, mapping these submissions to a template, chasing the broker for missing information and PAS export. It also has an Underwriting Guide Reader, which allows you to upload your underwriting guidelines and query them via a chatbot to easily access and find information.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The claims side works the same way. Visibility into where a claim actually sits, rather than a status buried in someone’s inbox, is most of the problem. Removing friction from that first notification of loss through to resolution has been as much about the quiet, unglamorous middle of the process as any single feature.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Why it matters more as a pattern than a single win\u00a0<\/h3>\n

One MGA using Nora offers a clear example of this playing out in practice. Since adopting Nora, the team has reduced the resources required for submission entry to a sixth of previous levels, from six employees to one full-time, while maintaining efficiency and accuracy. The common thread across customers like this is not one feature. It is a platform built around the exact needs of MGAs and insurers, rather than a generic system retrofitted to fit.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>That is the part a list like the InsurTech100 is actually picking up on. Not one product launch, but a pattern of removing friction across underwriting, claims and the operational work in between, consistently enough that it shows up across a hundred different companies’ worth of comparison.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

What this signals for where MGAs are heading\u00a0<\/h3>\n

The MGA market behind this recognition is not standing still. Capacity providers are getting more selective about who they back and that selectivity rewards MGAs that can show clean data, clear authority controls and repeatable reporting, not just growth on paper. The MGAs scaling fastest right now are the ones treating their operating model as seriously as their underwriting.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

That is the direction Insly is building toward. Recognition like this is a marker of where the platform has got to, not a finish line. The work ahead is the same work that got us here: making the unglamorous parts of running an MGA, capacity management, claims visibility and broker chasing, simple enough that growth does not outpace the operation behind it.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
