What do I need to do to start using Insly?

First you need to create your personal or business Insly account by signing up from our webpage. When you log in to your account for the first time, the system will guide you through the steps required to start working on Insly. If you need help with the initial setup, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us and we can assist and provide initial training at no extra cost to you.

How secure is Insly?

Your data security is paramount to us and we employ the highest level of security. Hosting of the Insly system is provided by Google Cloud Platform located in European Union (EU). Security is as follows:

  • each client base is kept separately and access to live data is very limited
  • server park is located at a specialized and secure location with limited access
  • hardware support / maintenance is provided by TeliaSonera Group companies
  • system is regularly backed up

Access to the live system is based on:

  • secure HTTP connection secured by SSL cert
  • required password strength is configurable by supervisor and has 3 strength levels:

Level 1: user defined passwords with no requirements
Level 2: numbers and letters are required
Level 3: capital letters, lower case letters, numbers and certain symbols are required

  • all successful logins and invalid login attempts are logged
  • to avoid brute force password hacking, IP-addresses are blacklisted for 24h after 10 bad password attempts
  • supervisor can configure a forced password change after a given amount of days
  • user can be forced to change the provided initial password on the first login

Can I use Insly in my country?

Yes, you can! Because Insly is cloud-based insurance software you can work from anywhere, at any time. You only need an internet connection and a device with web browser.

Are there limits to data I can upload into Insly?

Data storage is unlimited and included in monthly license fee.

Can I get my old data (customers/policies etc.) into Insly?

Of course! If you are an established company with an extensive amount of legacy data, please contact us at sales@insly.com and we can assist and advise to get your existing data to the cloud swiftly and securely.

Can I enter my confidential customer details into your system?

At Insly, total data security is the alignment of our technology, policies, and business model. Our data and privacy policies reflect a simple principle: the data we collect (‘or’ stored by Insly) is yours. If you enjoy the legal stuff, take a look at our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.

What insurance companies does Insly support?

It doesn’t matter whether you’re working with the largest insurers in the world or with small companies only operating in your country, Insly lets you add all the insurance companies you work with yourself from system settings.

What insurance product lines does Insly support?

Insly places no restrictions on the types of insurance products and you can create your own custom products from the system. That said, we are always happy to help you add your product to Insly if the scheme is very complex. We love challenges!

Can Insly work with Personal/Commercial insurance lines?

Yes. See previous.

Can I give different rights to users?

Yes, Insly supports multiple levels of access. You can go into quite a bit of detail – give different rights by user, department, branch office or user group. All of this can be set up by you.

Do I have to pay extra for customer support?

No, customer support is included in the monthly license fee.

How can I pay for using Insly?

We currently accept Visa, Mastercard and Paypal payments. American Express is not supported.

What are the setup costs involved for using Insly?

There are no setup costs involved for using standard Insly functionality. Just sign up, set up your account, choose suitable payment method and you’re good to go!

Can I use Insly system offline?

No, Insly is fully cloud-based and you need internet access to use the system. You are able to export data from the system however.

Do you have API?

Yes, our API allows you to add basically any kind of integration with ease. API docs are available and can be accessed from system management when logged into your Insly account.

Do you have a mobile app?

We don’t have a mobile app, but Insly design is responsive. This means that you can use it on any device with a web browser.

Can I send emails from Insly?

Yes, you can send out all policy related things like invoices, documents, offers (or quotes), debt notices and more. You can even make your invoice and debt notice sending completely automatic.
