Stephen Lathrope joins Insly as an Advisor
10 November 2022: Stephen Lathrope has joined the insurtech, Insly, as an advisor. Lathrope has over 30 years’ experience working in the insurance industry, with a particular focus on insurance technology. He will help Insly to maximise the potential of its no-code sales and policy management software to support product innovation, operational efficiency, and growth amongst insurance providers and MGAs.
Lathrope brings to Insly a deep understanding of the global insurance ecosystem, and the trends and opportunities that exist in insurance technology and the MGA market. He has a track record of working at the forefront of insurance innovation; currently Global Head of Insurance at ICEYE, the Finnish microsatellite manufacturer, and previously CEO at SSP Worldwide, the insurance software provider.
“Insly is at an interesting point in its growth journey, with proven technology and use-cases, an existing and growing customer base, and rapid development underway,” comments Lathrope.
“Its low/no code technology is the ideal fit for insurance companies and MGAs, enabling them to focus on building innovative products, rather than implementing complex technology solutions. This is even more important in the current climate where agility and efficiency are key to getting products to market with minimal friction and delivering the tailored insurance solutions that play a vital role in society.”
Risto Rossar, Founder and CEO of Insly, commented: “Stephen is a giant of the insurance industry who has proven time and again his capacity for driving technology innovation and commercial opportunity within fast-growth businesses. We are excited to have him as an advisor at Insly and look forward to exploring strategies for building our customer base going forward.”
Insly has provided full-cycle low/no-code insurance software for MGAs and insurance companies since 2014.
