On 15 October, MGAs, brokers and industry partners gathered in Leeds for the MGAA Broker Exchange. After sponsoring the London Broker Exchange earlier this year, Insly was proud to sponsor the Leeds event for the first time, with Märtin Kosk (Sales Director) and Luc Oppenheim (Head of Business Development) attending on behalf of the company.
The Broker Exchange is one of the MGAA’s regional events, designed to bring the MGA and broker communities together to build relationships, exchange ideas and strengthen the connections that the delegated authority market relies on. For Insly, it was a welcome opportunity to spend the day with the people we work alongside and to continue supporting the MGAA.
Familiar faces and new connections
Events like Broker Exchange are valuable precisely because they put the right people in the same room. Märtin and Luc reconnected with familiar faces from across the MGA market and met a number of MGAs for the first time, including businesses Insly had not previously encountered.
Those conversations are what make the day worthwhile. Hearing directly from MGAs about how they operate, what they are building and where they are heading helps us stay close to the market we serve. It also reinforces something we see at every industry gathering, from regional events like this one to larger conferences such as BIBA: the MGA community is at its strongest when it comes together.
Supporting the development of the MGA market
The MGA sector continues to grow and mature and the MGAA plays an important role in that progress. Through its events, advocacy and member support, it gives MGAs a collective voice and a platform to share knowledge with brokers, capacity providers and technology partners.
