What has your journey been like at Insly?
I joined Insly a bit more than three years ago in 2018. Back then, I was an aspiring Junior Recruiter and dreamed of becoming an HR Manager one day. For quite a while, my goal had been to work in an IT company in an HR function, and you can imagine how excited I was to join the team.
With zero start-up experience, it was a challenge at first. Though, I think that you can learn the most during your daily work. The beginning was difficult for me, but I’m so thankful to Insly for giving me the experience to develop myself as a professional and a personality. Even if I failed, I got up and tried again until I succeeded.
You work at Insly as Head of HR. As simple as possible: what’s your job like and how does that help customers?
I am responsible for finding the best talents on the market and making sure that our awesome Inslians are as satisfied as possible while working on our product.
What makes Insly different from other insurtechs?
I am more than sure that the pace of work is fast in all insurtechs, as we are operating in a constantly changing environment. At Insly, we do our best to make our people as happy as possible at work. We make sure that the working environment is pleasant, people would enjoy coming to work every day, and that we have enough team events. People are our most important asset and if they are happy, our product is capable of anything!
Describe Insly in three words.
I would describe Insly as:
- innovative – we are working hard on our product that is very innovative;
- friendly – so many Inslians have pointed out our friendly team and colleagues. I guess that we all have bad days, but it’s important to be friendly and supportive to each other to leave these behind quickly;
- challenging – there are plenty of opportunities to solve different problems, come up with new solutions, and learn from experience.
Can you point out some of the most interesting projects you have been involved in?
I have had the opportunity to shape the HR field at Insly and I’m always excited to take on new projects. My most interesting projects have been the contests of “Family and Employee-friendly Employer”, where we got a silver medal, and “Good Work Environment 2019”, which we won! I was so thrilled about the last one, because it was purely my initiative. I’m so proud every time Insly gets mentioned or recognised for our great atmosphere.
