The women helping to build Insly: Pille Semjonov, Client Delivery Lead

To celebrate International Women’s Day, we’re profiling some of the women playing a key role in building Insly, serving our clients, and making the business a success every day. 

Our final profile for this week is Pille Semjonov, Client Delivery Lead, who heads up one of our delivery squads, ensuring every element of Insly’s client services works like clockwork. 

 

Can you explain the focus of your role at Insly? 

I am one of three Client Delivery Leads at Insly, heading up a mixed team spanning account managers and implementation gurus.

My role and the way we manage client delivery are new this year, as we now have hybrid teams rather than separate departments for account management and technical delivery. The new structure ensures one team and leader have ownership and visibility of every element of day-to-day client relationships. 

That means my role spans project and client management, improving internal processes, and managing and coaching the team. I also collaborate with departments across the company to ensure we consistently deliver results for our clients.  

 

Talk us through your career journey before Insly?

I’ve built my career working between people, technology, and business – finding ways for companies to improve how they work through digital solutions and collaboration. 

I worked for several years at an HR services company, doing a broad leadership role spanning business development, sales, and people management. 

I then decided to pursue a career change, firstly via a master’s degree in Digital Transformation in Business, and then a role at Net Group, the software and IT services company. There, I led a full-stack development team, managing all elements of people management and client delivery, working alongside wider management. 

 

What attracted you to Insly?

I like that Insly has one core product, which is highly flexible and scalable to client needs. That means I have more visibility and input into product development, planning, and managing new configurations for clients. Insly also allows me to work internationally, as we have clients all over the world. 

What gets you up in the morning?

I’m goal-driven, so I like to achieve, improve, and see the impact of combining people and processes. I care about delivering strong business results and believe the best way to achieve them is by creating an environment where people feel motivated, enjoy working, and are empowered to contribute.

 

What is the best thing about working at Insly?

I have loved being hands-on from day one, working closely with clients and helping to solve their business needs. Insly is at a stage where it needs to scale up its people, processes, and leadership for the next stage of its growth, and I’m enjoying the chance to help build a new version of the company, working towards shared goals in a supportive, collaborative culture.

We have a tech and AI-forward mindset and a constant drive to identify processes that can be streamlined – both internally and for clients.
